SICCI Delegation Explores Business Opportunities and Understand Best Industrial Practices at Sri City

Sri City, July 4, 2025: A 22-member delegation from the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), Chennai, visited Sri City on Friday to explore its industrial strengths, gain insights into best practices in operation, and evaluate potential investment opportunities.

The team was warmly received by Mr. Bodgan George, AVP (Business Development), who presented an overview of Sri City’s robust infrastructure, strategic location, and investor-friendly ecosystem. During the interactive session, Mr. George highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s progressive industrial policies, such as the ‘Speed of Doing Business’ initiative, and emphasised the presence of over 235 global companies from 31 countries operating in Sri City. He invited SICCI entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for setting up operations within the integrated business hub.

Commenting on the visit, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City, remarked, “The presence of SICCI, which plays a vital role in shaping South India’s business landscape, is highly valuable. Their feedback will help us make Sri City a preferred destination not just for large industries, but also for small and medium enterprises.”

Mr. Elangovan Rajasekar, Director, Mentor Infocomm India, expressed appreciation for permitting the visit, stating that the delegation was thoroughly impressed by Sri City’s world-class infrastructure and pro-business atmosphere. The team, comprising representatives from leading business houses and consultancy firms across different sectors, visited major industrial units including Blue Star, MSR Garments, and Ball Beverages. The visit was coordinated by Ms. R. Saranyalakshmi, Head – Projects, SICCI.
