Sri City, June 6, 2025 – His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji, the 36th Pontiff of the revered Sri Sode Vadiraja Matha, Udupi, paid a spiritual visit to Sri City on Friday, marking a memorable confluence of tradition and modernity.
Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City, extended a warm and traditional welcome to the Pontiff. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sannareddy said, “It is indeed a blessed occasion to have Swamiji with us on this auspicious Ekadashi day. Even the showers from the skies seemed to join us in extending a grand welcome to him. We are deeply honoured by His Holiness’ presence. His visit inspires our mission to nurture Sri City as a place where spiritual roots, ecological values, and industrial innovation coexist in harmony. The inauguration of Nakshatra Vanam, Rasi Vanam, and Navagraha Vanam by Swamiji assumes special significance, as it comes a day after World Environment Day — reinforcing our shared commitment to preserving nature through spiritual consciousness.”
Swamiji was given an overview of Sri City’s vision, development through a detailed presentation, employment generation, eco-friendly initiatives, and the various literary and spiritual activities conducted under the Srivani forum, along with the social service initiatives undertaken by the Sri City Foundation. Swamiji had an interactive session with CXOs and senior executives of various resident industries. Addressing the gathering, he remarked that wherever sincere human effort is present, success is inevitable. He noted that Sri City is evidently blessed by the Divine, which is why it is flourishing into a world-class hub known for outstanding products. He extended his best wishes to Dr. Sannareddy and everyone involved in this remarkable journey.
During his tour of the industrial zone, Swamiji observed the brisk pace of activity and the region’s transformation into a thriving business hub. Later, at the Prasanna Venkateswara Temple located near the Sri City Nursery in Aruru, he offered prayers and presided over the inauguration of three spiritually significant green spaces—Nakshatra Vanam, Rasi Vanam, and Navagraha Vanam. Emphasising the deeper meaning of these sacred groves, Swamiji highlighted their role in fostering environmental awareness and reviving the ancient Indian tradition of aligning nature with spirituality. All the devotees expressed their gratitude to the MD of Sri City for facilitating this rare and spiritually uplifting opportunity to have darshan of a revered spiritual master.
The visit left a lasting impression on the Sri City community, infusing the region with a renewed sense of spiritual energy and purpose.
