Sri City, January 10, 2026: A ten‑member team from the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), headed by Principal General Manager Mr. Rajiv Tyagi, visited Sri City on Saturday. The guests were warmly received by Mr. R. Shivasankar, Senior Vice President (Marketing).
Welcoming the officials, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director of Sri City, expressed delight at hosting them and noted the honour of having the Sri City model studied by industrial authorities across states. He emphasised that their insights would support future initiatives and shared lessons from Sri City’s journey as a world‑class hub.
During the briefing, officials were presented with Sri City’s world-class infrastructure, strong connectivity, that promote ‘ease of doing business’, along with the advantages of Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) governance. The presentation highlighted Sri City’s stature as a multi‑sector manufacturing hub, reinforcing its reputation as one of India’s leading industrial destinations.
The visiting team included senior officials such as Mr. Anuruddha Kshatriya, General Manager, Investment Promotion, Invest UP, who joined discussions on infrastructure, investment opportunities, and strategies for industrial growth. The interactive session featured deliberations on best practices, key takeaways, forms of government support enabling the hub to thrive, and sustainability initiatives. It also explored strategies for advancing private industrial parks through joint ventures and public‑private partnerships, addressing the needs of major stakeholders.
Impressed by the vision and execution of the Sri City project, Mr. Rajiv Tyagi noted the delegation’s appreciation of its infrastructure and business‑friendly environment, describing them as benchmarks worth emulating. The team thanked Dr. Sannareddy and the Sri City management for organising the visit.
The visit, aimed at understanding the conceptual design and operational framework of Sri City, holds added importance as UPSIDA develops industrial parks in UP. The delegation explored the industrial zone, reviewing advanced infrastructure, technology‑driven operations, and modern facilities catering to diverse sectors. They also visited and interacted with the executives of Axxelent Pharma and Nippon Express units to gain direct insights into the dynamic ecosystem of the hub.
