Sri City, October 12, 2018:- An 18-member delegation from the Andhra Chamber of Commerce, headed by Mr. V.V. Sampath Kumar, Executive Committee Member, visited Sri City on Friday. Mr. Shiva Sankar, Senior Vice President (Marketing), Sri City received the guests and extended a warm welcome. Briefing them on the infrastructure and unique features of mega industrial park, and highlighted the advantages of doing business in Sri City.
Commenting on the visit, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City said,”Visit of Andhra Chamber of Commerce team is very important for us, as they lead business across diversified fields.”
“As this body speaks for the business community as a whole, and acts as a bridge between the Industry, business class and the Governments, their views and suggestions will be useful for making Sri City as a mega industrial hub even for small and medium enterprises,” he added.
Thanking the Sri City management for arranging the visit, Mr. Sampat Kumar said that the entire delegation was totally enthralled with the world-class infrastructure and business friendly atmosphere at Sri City. ”It will be our pleasure to introduce and recommend Sri City to more and more prospective investors,” he stated.
The intent of their visit was to witness and gain first hand knowledge about Sri City, assess its business potential and explore the possibility of investing. The delegation that included members from prominent business houses and management consultants, actively interacted with Sri City officials and got clarified their doubts on different aspects. Later they went round the campus and visited the production unit of Vermeiren.
The ninety year old Andhra Chamber of Commerce, which has its main office in Chennai, today has over 17,500 members and around 55 affiliated Chambers of Commerce and Industry & Trade associations. It has business relations in the US, UK, Japan, Sri Lanka, China, etc. and has contributed to the spreading of business across the globe.
