He appreciated Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy’s unwavering efforts and dedication in transforming a ‘once backward’ area into a vibrant economic region. Demonstrating his keen interest in empowering Mizoram’s youth, the Governor along with a team of officials of the Mizoram Government visited the skill development centre at Daikin and interacted with the experts. Discussions with a few recruitment agencies aimed at bolstering employment prospects for Mizoram’s youth underscored the Governor’s commitment to regional empowerment. Concluding his visit, the Governor engaged with students and faculty at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), fostering dialogue on educational opportunities and innovation.
In the presence of the Governor, the Institute for Climate and Environment (ICE) and Sri City exchanged the MOU signed to inspire each other on the journey of elevating climate consciousness and sustainability by forging meaningful partnerships.
The Governor‘s entourage which included several officials like the Chairman of the Mizoram Youth Commission, the Deputy Director of the Labour department, and representatives from the government IT institute, planning department, and science council, arrived a day early. Their purpose is to meet with relevant authorities and learn about the area’s skill development and employment initiatives.
