Sri City, July 21, 2018:- In line with its commitment towards providing health care amenities for the people of the neighbouring areas, Sri City Foundation in association with the Chennai based SRM Institutes of Medical Sciences (SIMS) organised a mega free multi speciality health check-up camp on Saturday. The health camp, held at the premises of the Grama Panchayati Office, Tada evoked good response with hundreds of people utilising the medical services offered.
Commenting on the medical camp, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director said,”We always focus on improving the lives of people in the region and health care is one of the key areas. Sri City has been undertaking various initiatives to promote health and well-being of the communities residing in and around our project.”
“We are very happy to drive such an initiative and receive a good response from the community members,” he added.
A team of doctors from SIMS – Vadapalani, Chennai, that included specialists in General Medicine, Pulmonology and Plastic & General Surgery, along with supporting paramedical staff conducted the camp. Over 265 patients from different villages of Tada and neighbouring mandals turned at the health camp. About 65 cases of Pulmonology related, 40 Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery related cases and 160 General Medicines related cases were screened.
In addition to free consultations and checkups, the camp offered free medicines and laboratory investigations.
