Sri City, April 28, 2018:- In line with its commitment towards providing health care amenities for the people of the neighbouring villages, Sri City Foundation in association with SRM Institutes of Medical Sciences (SIMS) organised a mega free multi speciality health check-up camp on Saturday. The health camp evoked good response with hundreds of people utilising medical services offered by the doctors on the premises of at SIMS Hospital in Sri City.
Commenting on the medical camp, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director said,” We always focus on improving the lives of people in our vicinity and health care is one of the key focus areas. Sri City has been undertaking various initiatives to promote the good health and well-being of the communities residing in and around our project.”
“We are very happy to drive such an initiative and receive a good response from the community members,” he added.
A team of doctors from SIMS – Vadapalani, Chennai, that included specialists of Cardiology, Orthopaedics, General Medicine, along with supporting paramedical staff conducted the camp. More than 300 patients from the Sri City villages and neighbouring mandals turned at the health camp. About 60 cases for Cardiology related, 30 cases for Orthopaedics related and 192 cases for General Medicines related were screened.
In addition to free consultations and checkups, the camp offered free medicines, laboratory investigations, X-ray and ECG.
