Sri City, July 22, 2023: Mrs. K. Sunitha, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries, Handlooms & Textiles Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh paid a visit to Sri City on Friday evening. Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City gave a warm welcome and briefed her on the latest developments in the business city. Mrs. Sunitha evinced keen interest and inquired on different aspects of Sri City.
Later, she visited the production unit of Toray Industries (India) Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Toray Industries, Inc., Japan, which produces technical textile material and supplies to both Indian and Export Markets. Mr Masahiro Nishizawa, Managing Director and CEO, took her around the facility and explained the manufacturing process. She inquired whether they were happy with the state government’s assistance, and received a positive feedback.
She had interacted with the CEOs of Sri City Industrial Units and briefed on the state government policies and sought their views for improving the ease of doing business in the state. She appealed them to give their views and suggestions in a consolidated way through Sri City management.
Thanking the Principal Secretary for visiting Sri City Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy said that her visit is very important and her observations and suggestion will be highly beneficial and useful.
