Sri City, October 9, 2021: Mr. Durga Shanker Mishra, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, and Mr. Pola Bhaskar, IAS, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh paid separate visits to Sri City on Saturday.
Mr. Satish Kamat, President, President (Operations), Sri City gave a warm welcome and briefed Mr. Mishra on the salient features of Sri City, its growth, and its impact on the economic development of the region. Mr. Mishra went round the park and witnessed the brisk works in progress at a few industrial units. Impressed by its size, infrastructure and the industrial developments Mr. Mishra appreciated the initiatives taken by Sri City management in developing such a large integrated business city.
Mr. Pola Bhaskar was given a warm reception by Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City. He visited Krea University and had a discussion with Dr. Mahesh Rangarajan, Vice Chancellor, and the key faculty members of the Graduate School of Business and School of Interwoven Arts & Sciences departments.
Explaining the guest about the curriculum the Vice Chancellor said that a unique ‘interwoven learning’ approach that weaves arts and sciences, exposes students to various subjects and enables them to discover interests in subjects not explored earlier.
Thanking the Krea University VC, Mr. Bhaskar appreciated the University team for bringing in a fundamentally different approach to higher education – Interwoven Learning, that brings together thought with action, arts with sciences, and the learnings of the past with preparedness for the future.
